1. Warranty Policy

1.1 Warranty Coverage

All laptops sold by SaverBro Sdn. Bhd. are refurbished, trade-in, or demo units and come with a 1-year warranty, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

This warranty covers hardware and software defects that occur under normal usage conditions.

 

1.2 Warranty Coverage Period

The warranty coverage for items is as follows:

Battery Clarification:

  • If the laptop shuts down immediately when unplugged, it is classified as a battery failure and covered under the 1-year warranty.
  • If the battery drains faster over time, it is considered normal wear and tear and covered for 3 months only.

 

1.3 Warranty Eligibility Requirements

A warranty claim is valid only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The laptop has an intact SaverBro warranty sticker on:
    • The bottom cover, and
    • The side of the monitor
  • The customer presents the original warranty card.
  • The serial number is readable and matches SaverBro’s system records.
    • If the serial number is unreadable or missing, the warranty card may be used as proof.
  • The device shows no signs of physical damage, tampering, or unauthorised repair.
  • The reported issue falls within the covered warranty scope.

 

1.4 Covered Software Issues

The following software issues are covered only if not caused by user modification:

  • Windows system corruption that prevents booting.
  • Driver conflicts.
  • Windows or Microsoft Office activation issues.

 

1.5 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty will be void under any of the following conditions:

  • Physical damage, including but not limited to:
    • Cracks, dents, liquid damage, or missing components
  • Tampered or damaged warranty sticker
  • Unauthorised repairs or servicing by third parties
  • User-installed or modified operating systems causing instability
  • Missing accessories or incomplete components upon return
  • Intentional misuse or improper handling
  • Damage caused by external factors such as power surges or environmental exposure

 

1.6 Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact SaverBro Customer Service via WhatsApp 
  2. Provide:
    • Proof of purchase
    • Warranty card
    • Description of the issue
  3. The laptop may be required to be returned for inspection.
  4. If the issue is confirmed to be covered:
    • SaverBro will repair or replace the unit at our discretion.

 

If the claim does not meet warranty eligibility, customers will be informed and offered:

  • A paid repair option, or
  • Collection of the device without repair

2. Exchange Policy

2.1 Exchange Eligibility

Exchanges are allowed within 3 days of receipt, provided:

  • The laptop is in original condition
  • All packaging, accessories, and documentation are included
  • No damage, misuse, or unauthorised modification is found

 

2.2 Exchange Options
  • Exchange for the same model or another model of equal or higher value
  • Top-up required for higher-value models
  • No refund for exchanges to lower-value models

 

2.3 Exchange Exclusions
  • Devices showing physical damage or misuse
  • Devices that do not meet warranty eligibility criteria

3. Payment and Shipping Terms

3.1 Payment Methods
  • Face-to-Face (FTF): Full payment required at store
  • Online Transfer: Full payment required before shipping
  • Cash-on-Delivery (COD): Available within Malaysia

 

3.2 Shipping Policy
  • Shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless stated otherwise
  • Courier services: Poslaju
  • Dispatch within 5 business days after payment confirmation
  • Same day delivery available for selected areas

4. Liability Limitations

SaverBro shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Liability is strictly limited to repair or replacement as stated in this policy.
